Hills Road Sixth Form College
Hills Road Sixth Form College is a supportive learning community in which students enjoy an environment designed to engage and inspire them and enable them to achieve personal growth and happiness. Having responded to strong and sustained demand, we now have 2,300 students, 85% of whom are recruited from our 20 state-funded partner schools. In addition to A level subjects, we offer the Extended Project Qualification, an extensive programme of enrichment and extra-curricular activities and responsive support and guidance. The breadth, depth and challenge of this curriculum are at the heart of our long-standing educational vision.
In addition to consistently outstanding examination results, we enable our students to gain the skills needed for life beyond College. We pride ourselves on our strong and supportive relationships: students work in close partnership with staff, are respected as individuals and treated as young adults.
Hills Road is committed to collaborative working and enjoys many mutually beneficial partnerships with schools, colleges, employers and community groups; these have enabled a wide range of activities to take place which facilitate engagement in professional dialogue, help to build an enquiry-based culture and provide opportunities for curriculum improvements and leadership development.
