All Saints CEVA Primary School
“This is a good school, highly regarded by parents and carers as an inclusive and supportive 'family' school where all pupils are able to succeed.”
Ofsted 2011
The school is a single form entry school with a current role of 189 children, aged 5-11 years and is situated in the heart of Newmarket. Our classes are single year group, mixed ability and include pupils who have special educational and emotional/social needs.
We serve a rich and diverse catchment where an increasing number of our pupils
have English as an additional language- currently 35%. We pride ourselves on our aspirational, inclusive ethos, where the needs and contribution of the individual are valued. The happy friendly atmosphere in the school is often remarked upon by visitors. The school has seen a rapid rise in results over the past year and we are confident it is moving forward to an increasingly outstanding future.
Our aim is to serve our community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian beliefs and practice. We encourage an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promote Christian values through the experience we offer to all pupils’
We also aim to:
• To have consistently high expectations which encourage each child to achieve their maximum potential, regardless of faith, gender, race or ethnicity,
• To provide a stimulating and caring environment where self-discipline, respect for others and stewardship are valued and encouraged,
• To continually foster positive links with parents, governors, children and staff, enabling the school to play a positive role in the wider community in which it is placed,
• To create an ethos where achievement, in its widest sense of the word is celebrated, where individuals are valued and a life-long love of learning is fostered.
